We are looking for a Dual Ticketed Electrical and Instrumentation Journeyman to join our team in Bonnyville, AB!

Candidates must be local to the Bonnyville, AB area.

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

  • Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical & instrumentation equipment installations. 
  • Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. 
  • Performs installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of protective relays, computers, metering, monitoring and control systems on gas turbines, generators and plant auxiliary equipment.Cable terminations, troubleshooting and commissioning.
  • Calibrates and replaces components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications.
  • Performs scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a journeyman ticket for both the Electrical and Instrumentation trades.
  • Must possess maintenance experience in the oil and gas/industrial industry.
  • Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team. 
  • Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to work safely.
  • Industrial experience, specifically in oil and gas is an asset

TICKETS REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, TDG First Aid, H2S Alive tickets are required.
