PTW is hiring an Adminstrative Assistant to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. This position will be a contract position to cover a maternity leave. 

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

  • Responds to internal and external inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Assists with accruals, job costing, stock transfers and purchase order (PO) activities.
  • Performs data entry into industry specific software.
  • May conduct payroll entry and time management for the assigned branch.
  • Prepares expense reports using MS Office Excel.
  • Assists with other administrative tasks as required.
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails.
  • Purchasing, procure material requisitions and correspond with vendors.
  • Assists accounts payable with queries.
  • Tracks backorders.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven Aministration or Assistant experience, with references.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
