PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR, 6 MONTH TERM

PTW is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Calgary for a 6-month term! If you have at least 2 years of direct payroll experience with multi-provincial, multi-cycle, high volume payrolls, we want to hear from you!

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

  • Preparing and processing salary and hourly payrolls in multiple provinces.
  • Enter new hires, terminations, transfers, wage adjustments and any other changes for a high-volume payroll.
  • Working with HR, Managers and Employees:
    • Update, maintain and distribute employee files
    • Create, reconcile and distribute payroll and benefits related reports.
    • Assist with T4s and ROEs.
  • Assists other payroll team members with workloads when required to ensure that overall goals of the team are completed within specific timeframes.
  • You will be participating in team meetings, responding to inquiries and requests, administrative tasks, data entry and filing.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

At PTW, we count on our Payroll team to maintain a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, professionalism, and trust with a focus on teamwork.

  • Completion of Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification an asset.
  • Previous experience working in the Construction industry an asset
  • Union payroll processing experience an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word.
