Role Summary:
We are seeking Journeyperson Electricians and 3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentices for a short-term project through October 31, 2026. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for cable pulling and terminations, cable tray installation, and MCC/PLC wiring for skid-mounted equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors.
- Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate or registration as a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work
- Valid Fall Protection Certification
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and OH&S requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
- Valid driver's licence required, as our facility is not accessible by public transportation
- Availability to work 10-hour shifts (8 regular hours and 2 overtime hours per day), Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage
- Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
