JOURNEYMAN INSTRUMENTATION 

Mackenzie, BC | Camp-Based | 14 Days On

PTW Energy Services Ltd. is hiring Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians for an upcoming industrial project in Mackenzie, BC.

PROJECT DETAILS

  • Location: Mackenzie, BC

  • Rotation: 14 days straight

  • Hours: 10+ hours per day

  • Overtime: Paid after 8 hours per day

  • Journeyman Rate: $50/hour

  • Travel Allowance: $600

  • RRSP: 5% employer matching

  • Camp: Camp-based

  • Pre-access Drug and Alcohol Testing: Required

  • Tubing Course: Required for the project and paid for by PTW

THE ROLE

We are looking for experienced Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians with strong instrumentation tubing experience to support this project. The majority of the work will involve instrumentation tubing, with some commissioning work required toward the end of the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install instrumentation tubing according to drawings and specifications

  • Route, cut, bend, fit, and connect instrumentation tubing

  • Inspect and troubleshoot tubing installations

  • Support commissioning, loop checks, testing, and troubleshooting

  • Complete required documentation and follow all site safety requirements

  • Work safely and efficiently as part of the project team

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician

  • Industrial and/or oilfield instrumentation experience

  • Strong instrumentation tubing experience

  • Commissioning experience is an asset

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused work ethic

  • Valid driver's license

  • Valid safety tickets as required by the site

  • Ability to successfully pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing
