Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician to join our Oil & Gas Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and predictive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment throughout oil and gas facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance daily maintenance on well pads and heavy oil facilities
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete field maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
  • Support accurate completion of field documentation and reporting
  • Follow all site-specific safety procedures and regulations
  • Collaborate with site teams to maintain equipment reliability and uptime
  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying and resolving maintenance issues and recommending preventative maintenance

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance and industrial oilfield experience
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused work ethic
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
  • Valid safety certifications required: CSO, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, AWP, WHMIS 2015

Job Details

  • Hourly Rate: starting at $46.21 /hr 
  • Working Hours: 12 hours per day
  • Modified Shift Rotation: 7 On/ 7 Off
